With a seasoned team we set out on a risky 100 km, 24-hour polar expedition. We made it 50 km.
About the project
One of the most physically demanding projects ever.
We decided to test the limits of the human body and willpower, so on 2 December 2023 we set out on a 100 km expedition from Kolín to Prague.
That day a snowstorm the likes of which the Czech Republic hadn’t seen in 40 years swept across the country, but even that didn’t deter us. For hours on end we waded through deep snow and merciless wilderness.
Sadly, along the way we lost Alex, who broke her ankle and could not be rescued in the conditions.
In the end we succumbed to nature halfway, in Lysá nad Labem — my home town. Luckily the locals recognised me and took us in, to warmth and shelter.
